Wait a little bit longer
Monday, June 29, 2009 10:46 PM

I had been waiting for about two months. I was hoping that the ipod Touch would be readily installed with software 3.0 but it seems like it could only be downloaded. So now I am so eager to buy and have checked with the new istudio at Orchard Central and they said that there will be a promotion somewhere this week. I'm up for free gifts if it will save me money. Even if it 30 bucks. A free scree protector and casing could really help me save the money for a sportwrap so that I will no longer have to hold on to my player when I run. If I coud wait for two months, what's one week right? Should be chicken feet!

Am I A Privillege Card Junkie?
Saturday, June 20, 2009 8:31 PM

I did not intentionally let this happen. I am not sure which one is the first one but the newest one will be the Zingrill card. I just collected it today. The most useful one has been Esprit and The Body Shop. I use these two the most and maybe The Coffee Bean card.

Alright enought about cards. I went out today with a lot of things to do and the first was to drop by Popular to get some stationeries. I need an eraser for the EPT on Monday and then I dropped by at the library to borrow a book about English vocabulary. I don't think it'll be helping me much.

Then I hurried to Downtown East where Nur and nyai were already there waiting for my arrival so that we can have lunch. I had to satisfy my craving for chawanmushi. It was 3PM when I reach and I was pleasantly surprised...well more like reminded that the Singtel F1 promo is in Downtown East this weekend. I was excited to see the much talk about stimulator and was glad that I got to see someone driving it. It looks really cool but the guy who was trying at that point of time was lousy! And I saw three very tall Singtel Grid Girls. I'm not sure if they are really that tall or they were wearing super high heels.

We dropped by at the Marquee for the Family Fun Fest just to get Turkish ice cream and Nur gladly becomes the victim of the ice cream man.

So right now I'm back at home watching the F1 qualifying session and Adrian Sutil...again...had an accident and this time around it looks really bad. Sleve Slater said that it was a brake problem and it does look like it has nothing to do with the dashing Sutil's driving skills. The car suddenly just jerked to the left, spinned, hit the wall/barricade and the rear wing flung out to the other side and Sutil remained in the car for a few minutes. The yellow flag was flagged out and a few seconds later the red flag and Q1 had 24 seconds left to go. All the driver had to drive back to the pit lane and were allowed to go for another round but most of them didn't. Hamilton hapily got out of his car and walked towards the waiting reporters for an interview. He will be starting tomorrow at P19. Poor Nicole had to watch her boyfriend starting at the second last grid. She was present at the qualifying.

My neck sparin has been really anooying me because it's been getting quite painful and I'm not sure if I had maybe stretched my muscles too much during Monday's swimming session. I know that I was on the pool 10 minutes more than usual and I did more breath strokes than usual. It's becoming really uncomfortable especially when I wake up in the morning and my neck is stiff. I'm gonna get mum help me with it when she comes back from vacation on Monday night.

I guess I'll stop here for tonight. Oh one more thing...Brawn GP not doing so well tonight...but no early celebration...I don't want to spoil it!

The Wall
10:44 AM

I am not sure how long I've been delaying this entry. I took the pictures using my phone camera and have actually transferred it into my laptop but I just did not have the mood to do it.

So today on a quite peaceful Saturday morning, I am finally making the move and typing out this entry. An entry full of pictures! These pictures are from my barang-barang wardrobe. I had two doors that opened to all my trinkets so I filled it with posters and whatever things I could find. I didn't even give Nur much space because it's filled with mine! So let's start with door number one!

This is the bigger picture. I must have started with this because I went to the Click Five concert on 1 June 2008.

This is the masquerade mask back in 2005 when SP School of Business had their Graduation Night. The theme was Moulin Rouge and I remembered having so much fun that night taking lots of pictures with all I knew before we all go our different ways. Behind the mask is my Sepang GP ticket which will forever remain there. Oh and look! I still have a picture of Michael Owen pasted right behind the ticket. I actually removed a Micheal Owen poster to make way for the Click Five "wave your hand in the air" poster.

I bought this landyard at Sepang GP and chose orange because it remind me of Renault. Joan bought a black one I think.

This is the star of this wall. Everyone who went to the concert had this on their seat so that we could all wave it in the air when they rock out on stage.

This is wall number two. More things and more memorable stuff. The nicest thing would have to be Fernando Alonso's pics where I got from newspaper. Cut it out before mum could throw 'em away!

This is a message from Hanis and I think this was last year's birthday message. I'm not sure if it's clear enough for everyone to read. This is what happens when you use a lousy phone camera to take pictures. I remembered laughing when I read this message from her.

He looks simply dashing in the picture on top. He's my dark and good looking prince!

This is the first picture of the girls and I on our very first outing back on 2nd January 2009. Eversince then we had our outing once a month, catching up and cam-whoring!

This was given to me by Nisa. She spells "Kakak" as "Kaka". The cute mistakes that little girls do is just worth smiling about.

Everyone who attended the Jason Mraz concert on 5th March 2009 had this on their seat and it was a totally cool thing coz it also acts like a fan. When mum saw this she said she wants it so that she fan herself when she goes to Batam. I was saying "No Way!". This is for me to paste it on my wardrobe wall as part of my collection.

Human-ness
Wednesday, June 17, 2009 10:28 PM

I was reading Jason Mraz's blog and am amazed at his human-ness. That's the word he used. He was describing how he is still a human with problems and worries eventhough he's a successful singer doing 180 shows/gigs a year. He wrote this particular entry before he perfromed 'I'm Yours' on idol. If you watched the finale of the Kris Allen season you will remember that Jason came on stage to sing 'I'm yours' with the season's contestant.

Jason said that his plan was to sing the song like it was the first time he is singing the song and he will enjoy himself.

He said: "Worry is what happens when we create meaning in a way that brings us down and its usually about an event that never really happens."

For example: If I had a failed relationship, I'm worried that it might happen again. But that's worrying about a relationship that is yet to happen...so why worry?

Jason's blog is full of insightful things and it makes me so amazed and surprise that he is down to earth and is as human as we are. He is afraid...he fears about how he look like in the eyes of his friends, family and fans. That's very normal. Sometimes, he felt like leaving in the middle of a show...in a middle of a song. It's all about commitment.

Go to jasonmraz.com and read his blog!

Sometimes it’s difficult to know that you’re the only person who is alone in this world. You ponder and wonder why this is the case and why companionship is so difficult to come by your way. Is it you or it is all those other people? What is the reason?

So you searched but you can’t find. You wondered and you can’t find. You questioned but there’s no answer. You seek out only to find nothing.

Search. Wonder. Question. Seek.

Wonder. Question. Seek. Search.

No answer. No response. No reaction. No clue.

My head is already getting dizzy from typing out this entry. Squeezed out the remaining of my brain juices and I ain’t got anything left.

Do people really read these things?
10:10 PM

Something jumped inside my head today and it suddenly hit me that the career path that I am about to embark on will never allow me to live the dream of studying in Liverpool. Studying in Liverpool had been in my mind for a while somewhere this year...I even had University of Liverpool's course work printed out as a reminder that I HAVE TO go there someday. I want to be pulled into a different culture and live in a different city and this had been my planned and I had actually discussed it with David.

Well now even David knows that I won't be living that dream of mine. I'm taking a different direction now and have to accept the fact that Liverpool will not happen. It's time to move on and concentrate on the task at hand: surviving the new career and path.

It's finally my turn because He has answer my prayers. I finally have a reason to leave and have been anticipatingly waiting for that day to come and it's one week away!!! Yipee!

This is not what I wanted to write about...it's something else but I suddenly find myself unprepared. So I guess that will have to wait. It will have to wait until I'm ready.

For now I'll go prepare that letter.

I met Fernando Alonso in my dreams
Sunday, June 07, 2009 6:23 PM

38.3 degrees Celsius

38.9 degrees Celsius

38.7 degrees Celsius

37.7 degrees Celsius

37.4 degrees Celsius

That was how my fever progressed these past two days. It was horrible as usual and considering my medical history all I did was to shower myself with cold water every two hours.

I thank Nyai for being there for me coz she took care of me the whole of last night. Changing the cold towels on my forehead so that it will help to decrease my temperature down.

Although I was having headaches and body aches, I tuned into last night's qualifying session and was happy that Vettel is in pole position. I hope that it will remain that way because if Button takes first position again I feel that I might lose interest in F1.

And watching the qualifying probably had made me dream about meeting Alonso and we had an intelligent chat about F1. How cool is that?

I'm so excited about the Singapore GP and it's about three and a half months away! This would probably be Alonso's final season because I'm not sure if Renault have submit themselves into next year's GP...and there are talks of Alonso joining Le Mans which is a go-karting team. How sad...
