Day Number 32...On MC
Tuesday, February 27, 2007 11:31 AM

I've been on MC since yesterday. I actually did went to work but visited the company doctor at Cuppage Plaza. My eyes got swollen overnight and when i went to work, people were looking at me like i've grown another head. I couldn't be bothered. What's there to be ashamed about? It's only a swolen eye.

So went to see Dr Chan and he told me that there was probably pus in my eyelid ad the swollen part is my eyelid not my eye as a whole. So he told me to go home and rest and furthermore, the medicine that he will be giving me will make me sleepy. So i settled a few things first at work and then go home and slept for a few hours.

But of course i took this opportunity and did research for my Managing Change pre-seminar assignment. I'm proud to say tha i ahve done a vast amount of research and reading to do a one-page summary of my understanding of 'Change in Organizations' influenced by both the internal and external environment.

I'm giving myself a rest since i've been doing research since last night. Right now? I want to watch Prison Break on DVD. One of my colleagues actually surprised me by lending to me her DVD without me asking! She told me i HAVE to watch it! Woohoo!

Stop It All!!!
Sunday, February 25, 2007 9:47 PM

I woke up suddenly with tears flowing down my cheeks. I took a piece of tissue to wipe it away (unlike lots of people...one whom i know very well,i can actually start to use my brain as soon as i wake up from my sleep). I was crying over something in my dreams that real tears started to wet my cheeks. It was kind of unexplainable. It was like as if i forced myself to wake up from that dream just to wipe the tears away coz i went back to sleep and the dream just kind of continues. I don't really remember much details of the dream but i definitely know what i was crying about and no i don't think i wasnt or should discuss it.

I do not have enough sleep on weekends like i should but i've heard from some people that weekends are not meant for you to "pay back" on the sleep that you have loss on weekdays. You will in fact get more tired if you sleep through the weekend. Each single day should actually be lived about the same way. If you wake up at 6AM every weekday then it's best if you wake up at that time too on a weekend.

So guess what? My sister have to screw up again and didn't check the line to tape for me MTV Made...so now i couldn't watch it. Totally pissed off. And i have to add that she HAVE to quit nagging like an old grandmother....even my grandmother don't nag like she does. In fact, my grandmother rarely nag! My sister is like a mother-in-training....but only on the nagging part. Oops...you reading this my sister? Then i'm sorry. Ill do what it takes to make sure you nag 99% less than you do now!

On a side note, i still have not done anything for my Mananging Change pre-seminar assignment...i shoudl get my act together or i'm going to regret not doing so!

Day Number 28...If everyday could be just like this
Friday, February 23, 2007 9:50 PM

Lots of people are still on leave. The trains are not packed and it was less stressful on board them. The best thing is...not much customers are flooding the banking hall. I couldn't remember when was the last time things were peaceful.

I receive 3 angbaos since the last two days. 2 from TMs and one from my CM. I was quite surprise by it.

Fall Out Boy will be having their only concert in Asia right here in Singapore and just when i got excited at the prospect of going for my first concert, i found out that tix are selling at $75 for a standard standing arrangement. I'm not too bothered by the cost but more to the arrangemnt. Dang! I should have went to the Fort Minor concert when they were here. Tix are much cheaper.

I can't wait to go to the dentist tomorrow. Dr Wong should be changing the wire and i really need him to do that because they are poking my cheeks!

Day Number 25...???
Tuesday, February 20, 2007 10:53 PM

Let's get into it, i have pics to post and kinda lots of things to do. First off, the meeting fnally happened! Ben, Terence, Yanping and me finally had lunch together. So we had lunch at Ramen Ten and it was all good. Ben is still the same so is Terence. I have meet up with Terence before this so it was Ben i was looking forward to meet. We have been talking on the phone for three months and finally i get to meet the man himself. His walking is fine...i mean he is not limping or anything. His next operation will probably be in April so he told us that he will be able to meet us again in March if we want to. He's free on the weekdays but definitely not the three of us, so it robably won't happen.

So we walked around town and end up window shopping around Isetan Scotts. Well i did a bit of shoppig but not the others. Terence and Ben was being irritating as usual. I spotted a trenchcoat in Mango which i really like, so Yanping and i looked at the price tag and i said "Oh it's only $99."

T and Ben started to laugh at me because i said "It's only $99". That was close to $100 so they find it ridiculous that i'm taking it easy. I admit that it wasn't cheap but i'm sure Yanping understand my statement. I mean usually trenchcoats with a brand is more than $100 which is why i made that statement. From that moment on everytime i picked something from the shelf they keep on teasing me.

"Fadhilah, buy that, it's only $99. Buy that one it's only $85"

I swear they totally have not change!

The sleepover went well and i really enjoyed myself but no pictures were taken coz we were all in out pyjamas and erm....it's just not nice. We end up only watching Goblet of Fire because we only started watching at about 930PM and it ended at midnight and then we watched most of the special features in the DVD and that was till 1AM and then we watch home videos from we were teeny weeny little kids and it was so funny we just laughed out loud not caring it was almost 230AM when we finished. We woke up at 930AM next morning, had a big breakfast and played Twister and Uno till it's time for them to go home. I don't know when we will be able to do that again!

Day Number 23...The long holiday
Sunday, February 18, 2007 6:31 PM

I received my assignment comments for my Management subject today. Not bad i shall say. 7/10 for my pre, B- for my journal and A- for my main! WOOHOO! I'm doing pretty good so far. But i should add that i don't really need to worry about Managemnet because the exam was easy too. I'm afraid for my economics. The exam was tough and i really really hope that all will go well.

So today Hanis and her sisters are coming to our place to have a Harry Potter maratjon. Not so much of a marathon coz i need to discuss with them if they do wanna watch all 4 coz have the complete set of DVDs.But what we're going to do though is watch them overnight. They are only coming after maghrib and we will be starting after isyak i guess.

Then tomorrow i'll be watching Ghost Rider with Yanping coz i got the tix from OCBC recereation cub. It'll be at Vivocity. On Tuesday i'm having lunch with my only brother, Ben togetehr with Yanping and Terence. I have not seen Ben for 2 ears and i really mean literally 2 years because the last time i see him was graduation ball back in April 2005!I didn't see him on grad day in July and we didnt meet up after that.He say he is now available to wlk so i took the chance to ask him out!Hope that there wont be any cancellation!!!

Day Number 21...Delirious
Friday, February 16, 2007 9:45 PM

Something just brought a smile to my face! I got a mailed envelope from APMI today and i thought it is probably just another receipt and left it unopened for a while. So i was waiting for a few things to load o my laptop and decided to open it. Turns out that it's my Econs lectyre comments on my pre-seminar assignment. I got and A-!!!!And i'm so happy but it would be much much better if the grade is for my main assignment which i wok hard for. Her comments were really encouraging too and she also states the good and the bad. Here's what she said:

Referring to Japan as a specific case, the essay shows evidence of understanding of economic issues.
Essay is well presented.
Supporting data are presented.
There is evidence of wide reading.
Arguments are convincing.
Reference are slightly inadequate.
A-

I'm totally delirious...

Day Number 20...Aarghhhh
Thursday, February 15, 2007 9:36 PM

Panic! Totally panicking at the moment!

I finally got around to checking my email today which had been left unchecked for 4 days and all of a sudden i got a shock with the news that my study group will be combining with another group for the Cross Cultural Management (aka "How to be an expat") pre-seminar project!GASP!

This is not going to be easy considering that everyone is a part time student and work is like our number one prority.I'm praying hard that everything will go well not smoothly but well.Insyallah.

So now i hv to get back on reading my study guide. It looks like teh Professor this time is really an Ang Moh and he's expecting a lot! He sounds scary just from reading the study guide!

Day Number 16...I can suck alright?
Sunday, February 11, 2007 9:50 PM

Yes i can! On the first day when i got my braces, i couldn't drink from a straw but now i can! I just need to use a lil bit more force..that's all.

Went to JB today to do some walking around and have seafood there. And to catch a movie too. I wasn't too keen on the movie at first because there's nothing that i wanna watch. My mum and dad wanted to watch Qabil Kushry Qabil Igam and i'm so glad i watched it! The movie was fantastic. I told my dad to get the VCD when it comes out.

I cried half of the show because it was really sad.I just let the tears run down my cheek whenever it wants to...i didn'e even bother to wipe it off. LOLX!

The story has a great cast who is made up of Hans Isaac, Ziana Zain, Erra Fazira and Rusdi Ramli. I was a lil sceptical about Rusdi at first because i thought he's not that hero type but i think he did a really good job. And you HAVE to see Hans Isaac becoming Salman Khan because in one of the scenes, they did a dance to one of the Bollywood films and Hans really look like Salman it was hilarious!

Liverpool lost...urgghhh. 2-1 to Newcastle. I didn't watch the second half so i missed the part where Newcastle was given a penalty...right? I mean this is what heard, i haven't read the match reposrt yet...

I have not started studying or reading my textbook for my upcoming term...wondering if Sean have already started. I think i'll ask him tomorrow...but for now...i'll stop. There's things that i need to do!

Day Number 13...Move Along
Thursday, February 08, 2007 10:57 PM

Taking half day off tomorrow! Yipee! Really really need the much awaited rest. Joan finally came back today and it is still blerdy busy at the bank. Customers keep coming in like it was a funfair! The crowd was terrible.

Bought All American Rejects Move Along album and am loving in. I am hooked on It Ends Tonight...such a nice song.

I'm making a trip to the dentist again this Saturday to change the rubber band on my braces, and I think it basically means that my teeth will feel tight again and i might not be able to chew.

Yanping and i have planned to take at leat one weekday off to get out into the city where the crowd might not be too terrible. Weekends crowds are a nightmare and shopping will not be relaxing.

Can't hardly wait...Yanping don't make me wait too long!

Day Number 10...When The Lions beat The Thais
Monday, February 05, 2007 6:39 PM

Surprised? Shocked? No words can describe it. When Khairul Amri scored that crucial goal, heaven was shining down on the Lions. They did it again for the second consecutive year! Won the AFC i meant.

So many heart attacks...so many misses...so many mistakes but the Lions made it! And i really mean hart attacks because my heart was jumping out of my chest everytime something really heart-attack worth happened.

So i'm at work right now and things aren;t going well. It has been a busy day and i now have a blister on my feet. Damn those new shoes but i also didn;t expect to be running around like a mad girl today. So maybe i shdn;t blame the shoe...

Can't wiat for CNY so that i can take a break!

Day Number Nine...Match Report (Liverpool vs Everton)

SUBSTITUTION

The game was no fun at all. And plus the fact that i was sleepy and sick made it so boring!

Anyway i read a small report on TODAY yesterday. JK Rowling revealed that she will be killing two characters in the last installment of the Harry Potter series. This might sound ridiculous but a helpline will be set up just in case young teenagers break down and be in a state of depression because of the killing of these 2 characters. i'm sure Harry is going to be one of them. He has to die in order to defeat Voldemort.

Can't hardly wait!!!

Day Number Eight
Saturday, February 03, 2007 6:51 AM

It's 652AM as i'm typing this. My sore throat is really hurting me so 'm thinking of going to the doctor before i go to the dentist. Dr Chan's clinic is also at Cuppage Plaza so i thought i shd drop by before going to Dr Wong's. I think i probably could predict Dr Chan'd reaction if he see me coming into his room..."You again? don't tell me it's your eye...not fever right?"

So anyway, most of you have probably not heard about this yet. But our wizard boy, Daniel Radcliffe a.k.a. Harry Potter is growing up. I can't believe he's 17 already! Dan is involved in a stageplay titled 'Equus', which basically is about a stable bo who has a thing about nudity. Promo posters of the stageplay are circulating...because Dan is basically almost naked! Here's some of the pics.

So feast your eyes coz Dan looks hot!

Day Number Six...Thailand Boo Boos
Thursday, February 01, 2007 9:57 PM

Truly Pathetic...only 2 words for those unprofessional Thai players.

What were they thinking? Walking off the pitch in protest of the penalty given to Singapore. They are certainly not man enough to deal with this. There is still the 2nd leg so if you are not satisfied then crash Singapore all you want when u get back to Bangkok for the 2nd leg!

Anyway some of u may be wondering why i have all these days counted...it's for my braces. I see that counting forwards is better than backwards...and it also will help me see how far i have gotten.
