I had training since yesterday and i have to admit that yesterday's was real fun...it was quite enjoyable. Tables were set with markers and flipcharts and A4 size papers. Yesterday's training was about EXCELLENT customer service. So we had role plasy, discussions and lotsa activities. Only Jia Hui and me were from Premier Banking and with banking experience...the rest were "freshies" and 3/4 of them are from SIM! I was thinking, were they like recruited altogether at the same time???!!!

Some have sales experience but not in the banking industry. One of them was from Hyflux tho. There are there as PFCs and they are all crazy especially the guys. Jia Hui and i had to join this group of 5 guys and i cant remember when was the last time i laughed so hard till my stomach hurts. It feels like Polytechnic all over again (u know when we hv group discussion but did otherwise?)

Today's was a bit boring and i almost nod off a couple of times. But the pain in my throat made me feel uncomfortable thru out the day...i couldn't drink as i was fasting so i just had to bear with the pain.

Oh well...just be strong i guess and hope that it will not get worse.

Woot-Woot!

Oh Yes! Hady Mirza is the newly crowned Singapore Idol and probably the last...well he is the last!

Gurmit didn't create and suspense like he always did during the Workshop...he just went: "Singapore you have voted. You have decide. Your new Singapore Idol is Hady Mirza!"

I was shock, my sis was shock that there were no adrenalin bulding and suspense filling....the results just like that!!!!!

Atika and i was damn worried about Hady not making it. But when i heard that my collegue was voting for Hady too i became less worried but then it get intense all over again as 930pm nears...

Oh well it's over now...i told Atika that we did it and she's so happy...she was day-dreaming about Hady singing to her "Through the Fire" all day at work...now she can day dream some more.

Great Match
Sunday, September 24, 2006 12:45 PM

So Liverpool won it again yesterday...3-0! It was a great match!

Didn't get to catch it from the start because of terawih but all the goals came during the 2nd half so i got to watch everything. Riise's goal was so powerful but of course there were some Chelsea fans who said that it wasn't as powerful as Drogba's....but come on..his goal was so ten years ago..people are talking bout Alonso's goal now...which in fact is better than Beckham's. Football fans might remember that Beckham goal where he scored from the half line.Alonso's goal was from his own half!!!!Just imagine how far that was! It was BRILLIANT!!!!

And yesterday after he got substituted, the camera shows him standing with this cool look on his face...i swear it was better than what Atika says as the "Excuse me, are you a model" look of Christano Ronaldo. YES it's true. He looks like out of a magazine page of Calvin Klein...but no one can beat Freddie Ljungberg's ad...if you know what i mean. (LOLX!!!Going dreamy...)

So i can't believe the fasting month is finally here. Pretty excited and it starts on a Sunday which is a good day to start...Looking at it right now, you would think...oh i still have 29 more days! But just go with the flow and sooner or later you'll be thinking.."Oh My...tomorrow is Hari Raya!!!"

Bought Christina Aguilera's album and i think it has numerous good songs in it. Christina has really done well unlike Ms Spears...gosh i can't belive she's having a second kid at lie 25...26? That's so not celebrity and i think Kevin Federline sucks....who does he think he is and what did Britney saw in him????

You'll never walk alone
Thursday, September 21, 2006 8:13 PM

I just saw that Alonso gooooaaaallll! This is what i'm talking about man! They finally won!

When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high, and don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of a storm, there's a golden sky, and the sweet silver song of a lark
Walk on through the wind, walk on through the rain, though your dreams be tossed and blown...
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart, and you'll never walk alone...
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart, and you'll never walk alone...
You'll Never Walk Alone

Had training today and at one point of time, i had my eyes close and when i open my eyes, the trainer was looking at me...WHOOPSIE! (I think my face turned red!)

But he was ok. Not very strict. Afterall, we are all adults, he can't reprimand...No doubt that i was the youngest in that room...

Just these for today...wanna watch TV!

Frustration
Monday, September 18, 2006 8:20 PM

I am so frustrated by the fact that Liverpool keep losing....they lost last week to Derby rivals Everton 3-0 and last night lost 1-0 to arch enemy, Chelsea...and it doesnt help that everytime i click on internet explorer, Chelsea, with all it's glory popping into the screen!

No should now question my loyalty, if you want to question me, question me about my passion for my beliefs that Liverpool can actually win this season. I'm angry beause i am passionate about Liverpool...i'm frustrated for the same reason too. How can they become so bad and Reyna is slowly depreciating...Should i hate the players or Rafa Benitez...he surely aint doing a good job!

If i could trade my place with anyone who wants to know how i feel last nigh, i'll do it in a heartbeat. Do u guys know how it feels like with a Chelsea fan behind you and another to your right? It's totally insane!

I will NEVER EVER change side...let me get this straight and right. I will make sure that my future son will fall in love with Liverpool FC and not let my dad buy him a Chelsea jersey...that would just pretty much suck...

Liverpool...You'll Never Walk Alone.....

Gimme my bad boy
Saturday, September 16, 2006 6:49 PM

So yesterday was T's birthday and he had a barbeque at his house and i went there for a little while. Already there was Anna, Waiteng, Amanda, Aud, Yanping, Joan, Michelle, Eliz, Kevin and 2 other gals who i don't know. It looks like T's friends are all girls...

Then had to wit for the bloody bus for like almost 15 minutes and i only reach home at 1050 when i left at 10!It's really irritating!Which is the reason why i rarely take the bus anywhere.

So whats been happening this week? i finally got to do some work...which is a good thing coz that's what i'm there for...and i got my pay yesterday...in full!Which is cool! I am helping out the RMs eventho most of them are not familliar with me so my buddy keep passing to me work instead of the RM themselves. Only one of them has done that and oh she's quite stern. My manager warn me about her so i'm keeping vigilant...coz once she scream at me, i have the right to tell my manager about it.

So i'm geeting familliarise about Structured Deposits, Dual Currency Returns, Unit Trusts and all that. The work is kinda tiring but i'm planning to just keep up with everything. I just wanna be a hard worker...hehe.

So i think there's nothing much left to say other than i'm happy Hady and Jon made it to the finals although it'll be much better if Jasmine is one of the finalist.

Yeh updates...but i'm not really sure i have much to update about. But first of all...maybe my new job. I am in training mode right now so everything is kinda slow and pretty boring.I was attached to the teller for two days and it's definitely better than sitting down and read about the bank products.

Then finally on Friday i had an offical product training and of course it was boring because i already knew about most of the produt. i end up closing my eyes and trying my bet to keep it open during the first hour.

People at work are all ok. It's just the RM i have to worry about. I have met my TM and 2 of the RM...just one whom i havent met and have to worry about. People say that she is very challenging and kinda bochap about her work, so she can be a very big problem to handle. So might be seeing her tomorrow coz she was on block leave the previous week.

So let's see, on Saturday, went on a small shopping trip with mum and sis..i only bought one blouse. And then went to meet Yanping to watch 'The Devil Wears Prada'. I end up buying a pair of shoes for work while waiting for Yanping. i had to wait for an hour for her. Mum and sis went away for lunch at about 1pm so i made a few rounds around Bugis Junction and at 130pm i make my way to Somerset. Receive a call from dear Yanping to change our meeting time to 230!So i make my way to Orchard and walk aroun Wisma and Taka to look for a shoe or a bag...end up at Cathay Cineleisure and bought a shoe from Tinkerbell (you see, i threw away 3 pairs of shoes..so i have to replace them right?). Then at 235pm, Miss YP came and we had lunch at LJS and had to hurry for our movie.

Prada is a great show..if you love fashin...u just gotta go and watch it. Just look at the Gucci and the Jimmy Choo and the Chanel and the Marc Jacobs....just gawk at it!And Anne Hathaway i think did a pretty good job although critics mention that they shd have someone who is Audrey Hepburn-ish to play the Andrea character. Meryl Streep of course delivers.

So today, went out again to take my shoes from DMK and end up buying 2 pairs for myself and a pair of slippers for sis (so now i have repleced the 3 shoes that i threw away!). Then after that return home with my wet jeans and top...the rain was harsh today!

Oh befoe ending, went to NTUC just now an bought chocolates! Don't u guys ever woner why women NEEDS chocolate? And do u all notice that it's always girls who says "I want/need chocolate" but now boys...they don't nee chocolate! So me and sis bought Freddo! Do u guys remember this chocolate?

Cute huh? When i was younger, i frequently eat this chocolate froggy!

Ok so i shall stop here coz i have to start writing a reply letter to Mrs Rachel Witty...

Birds in the sky...u know how i feel
Friday, September 01, 2006 8:59 PM

So it's Friday today and i no need to go to work coz my last day was yesterday.Pretty excited fro Monday as i embark on a journey where i don't know how the outcame is going to be like.I'm not gonna deny that i so nervous and a little scared.I understand that there will be a lot of work and i will having a lot of responsibilities.I'll be facing all those RMs who are probably up to no good all the time but if it's a consolation, i will be handling a team that is not too leceh. So hopefully everything will be alright and i am gonna pray everyday that i will have the strength and courage to do my job well.Coz lots of people are expecting me to not disappoint them and i am not going to!I'll try my hardest and do my best!!!!!
