A Night At The Museum is totally awesome! It's so funny that i laugh out loud...i didn't care because everyone else was laughing!

Anyway i'm watching Majalah 3 as they showcase the "Ultimate Chelsea Experience" and i hv to admit that it was pretty god...because it was all paid for! Of course it's good. If you go to London with your own pocket money, you won't get a FULL TOUR of the chelsea fc stadium and get to watch 2 matches....you won't be able to see the BUCKINGHAM PALACE....you won't get to ride on the LONDON EYE...you won't get to get into MADAME TUSSAUDS' exhibition!!!!

So my sister...if you really want to go then we have to start saving...and i guess you have to foreget about getting 1 Swatch watch every 3 months!

frustrated!

Internet connections are still damn slow. I've been trying to upload my pics on photobucket but it's just not happening. Maybe i should wait till next week!

Meanwhile, i thin i either go do some research or just be sane and do what i think will keep my head on the right level...it was so crazy at work today it was like a madhouse! Guess what time i had my lunch today??430PM! After the bank closes! It was truly horrible and tiring but honestly, i didn't feel hungry until i sat down with nothing to do.

So right now i'm feelng a little headache-ish and i think it's best if i do something fun right now...something i'll enjoy.

smile...it confuses people

My laptop is running super low on battery so i better get this done quick! Looks like internet connection is still slowing down so i couldn't upload my KL trip pics for all to see...yes i love my photos so i wanna show them off so pleased on't roll your eyes at me.

Will be watching A Night at The Museum on Saturday with Hanis and her sisters...time sure flies this week because as of tomorrow it'll be one week since i made my way to KL and one week since the day of HELL at work!

Just one more day and my buddy's gonna be back. My exams will be next Wednesday so no more fun for me on New Year as i celebrate with my books and laptop around me,accompanying me and cheering me...hopefully!

To all those guys and gals who are still schooling...i'm begging that you don't complain. Please enjoy your school days while it lasts because working is just plain boring and full of back-stabbing and cruelty.

It really is the REAL WORLD out here and it's just depressing me. I miss my schhol days especially my days in Polytechnic which were fill with lots of nice memories that i'm planning to keep forever.

Working world just plainly sucks. So for those of you in Poly or Uni or JC or even secondary school...life doesn't really suck until you start working!

whoop de doo...
Tuesday, December 26, 2006 10:30 PM

The rain has started pouring again...for nearly 24 hours now. It started raining say about 11 last night when i got out of the taxi from my trip to KL and it hasn't stop since!

It was raining at all when i was in KL...it was super sunny! It was really hot that i got a headache from it. We were in Genting and believe me when i say that the weather's not that cool anymore. I didn't need a jacket.

I did lots of shopping in KL especially on the last day when we went to Sogo. I bought 2 pairs of shoes, a pair of jeans and a bag when i went there. They were having their year end sale so everything was super affordable. Surprisingly, i didnt really spend much at Chinatown...only a pair of sneakers which i love!I bought a pair of Carlo Rino heels at Sogo and it only cost me RM79! The bag was also from Carlo Rino and its only RM179!

So i wanna upload all the pics that i ahve taken but it's going to take sometime so i'm not doing it now.I'm also not able to make a match report considering my vacation (Liverpool won 2-0 against Watford) and they also have a Boxing Day match which is happening at this moment!

I'm quite behind time for my econs project and i'm quite jittery about that. I really have to start researching again. Management exam is next Wednesday and i'm also nervous about that!

HELP ME!!!

i hate...

I couldn't contain myself so when Effa was watching future episodes of Prison Break on CD, i had to join her...so now i have watched the last 3 episodes and i know the ending!OK...no spoilers just in case there are any fans of Prison Break who's readin this!

I'm feeling pretty tired right now and work pretty much sucks right now. Every single day had come up with a new problem...and now that my buddy is on holiday...everything just slowly turns to something bad!I'm just not looking forward to next week!

Yeh got this title from Today newspaper.

The weather had been unforgiving for a FULL 24 hours. Fllods in Mandai Rd, Upper Thomson and a few other places was really an unusual sight. I managed to watch the news last night and it was really horrible. Water went up to waist high submerging some cars!

My mum definitely didn;t know what's going on coz she kept asking my grandma to wash the clothes! She had no idea that we haven't seen the sun for almost 2 days!

Well she called last night from KL and told me that i have to exchange lots of SGD to MYR because there lots of things to buy. AT this moment i only have 180RM...but i'm planning to bring SGD just in case i ran out of it...but i can always use VISA...any advise anyone? Will it cost more to use Visa than cash???

Well anyway we had an Xmas party in the office last night and it was fun!Everyone was in the mood of spirit of giving. I brought back lotsa presents! Then i receive one more surprise when i went out to take a packet of drink and came back to my table with one small gift from dear Elis! I LOVE SURPRISES!!! (Hint!Hint!Hint!)

Gobsmacked!

I suddenly remembered Emma Watcson using this word in one of her interviews so i used it as my blog title.

Alright...at this point of time i'm at the 2000 mark!CHEER FOR ME!!! I kinda forgot that i still have learning journal to hand in tomorrow besides the main assignment. Well lucky for me i did a few lines, about half a page of journal before class so now i just have to write about one page more to reach 500 words. This is insane! I took half day PM today and AM tomorrow to finalise everthing and to also hand in my assignment. I really hope this assignment will help me score for Management. i'm hoping for at least a 60!

My aim at the end of his jouney is to hold at least a 2nd Class Upper Honours degree...yes i'm reaching for the stars but hey if i fall at least i hope it'll be 2nd Class Lower.

shoppng spree???
Sunday, December 17, 2006 2:02 PM

Guilty? I don't really know...
Happy? I think so...
Broke? Definitely yes!

LOLX!

So Hanis, Effa and me went shopping yesterday and it was s much fun! Basically, for me, i wanted to shop for our trip to KL this weekend. I've never tried on so much clothes before and yesterday i did. It was like a first time for me to get clothes from Far East Plaza because i don't usually do that. I bought 2 of my tops there.

Top Number One
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
This is probably my favourite from all the tops that i bought!!!!It's on discount. At first i thought it won;t fit me but luckily it did!

Top Number Two
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
This top is the most expensive of al the tops that i bought(no figures here!that's a secret). Bought it on the 3rd floor from this probably China gal who barely speaks English and the 3 of us were having quite a hard time figuring her out.

Then we went to Wisma Atria and my main destination- Forever 21!

Top Number Three
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Totally love this one. I'm probably gonna use it for work! I'm not sure tho if i ought t bring it for the KL trip.

Top Number Four
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Nur said i look like Piglet in this! Oh well! Butits uber comfortable!

Top Number Five
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Eurgh! This one im going back tomorrow and change it to either a smaller size but hopefully i could change it to a different one!

So i send a lil bit over $100 on all these three tops and i got myself a $10 voucher! Effa advise that i shd just go get something on the same day coz we have no other time to do it. I split it between Hanis and myself and i got my 6th top!

Top Number Six
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Just pick it out from the shelf and luckly they have a size 'M' and there's only 2 pieces left!

Then we made our way home at about 630PM and Hanis went to our house for Maghrib and then followed by dinner near my place with all my other cousins and aunties. Here's one picture taken of Effa and Aishah:

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

So i think thaat's about it and yeh i changed my skin again. I get bored easily you see so i just had to!

10%...this is what i only got! Suddenly writing a 2500 words essay puts me in not a good mood....how am i supposed to talk about organizational structure up to not more that 2500 words...lots of reading to do and it's simply too taxing!

Reading a textbook is so not fun at all. why is it everytime when it comes to things like this, you fell asleep pretty fast? But when it something interesting, you never feel sleepy at all. Have discussed it with Sean on MSN and at least i'm in the ead with 200 words, he haven't even start!

Well, shutting off everything now...it's TV time oh and tomorrow is shopping time!!!woohoo!!!

Thursday, December 14, 2006 11:34 AM

So i have been going for my night classes and all and i just noticed something that is so irritating that it just irks me! Well as usual, you can't run away from seing couples in the part-time classes. For a start, there are 2 of them in my class. Oh and these girls are so "independent". I really don't get it...maybe because i don;t have a boyfriend BUT i have told Miss Yanping before that i would never ask my boyfriedn to carry my bag for me simply because it's part of my accessory.

So these girls, with built boyfriends had them carry all those heavy books and all other stuff in a big bag and they carry tiny Guccis and Guesses like a rich tai-tai. WHY??? Can i ask why???

Why is it so hard to carry your own stuff? This i'll wonder as long as i need to.

What should it be?
Sunday, December 10, 2006 10:12 PM

Ok first of all i totally love this song by Gnarls Barkley...just make me wanna dance!

Time management is suddenly so much more important now! I have Management assignment of 2000-2500 words due next Tuesday but a lot of research have to be done for the Econs main assignment which is due on the 9th of January…yeah I know that it should be at the back of my mind for now and I should start (yeh I haven’t started alright? Don’t raise your eyebrow!) my Management assignment soon…I have not even decide which qns to do but most probably it should be qns 1 about contingency planning and whatsoever…other than assignment NUID have this new thing called a Learning Journal…which is also due next Tuesday. Well I am half-way there for my Management Learning Journal.

So just now in class I approached Mrs Ching to ask her what she thought of my thought for my assignment. We have 7 qns to choose from and I thought maybe I shd do qns 6 which basically wants us to compare 5 years of GDP data between 2 countries that have the similar development and analyze why their growth rate differs. So I told her that I want to compare US and UK and she told me that she would be interested if I were to decide to do that coz nobody has done it yet. She said that her previous class, one of the student is actually planning to compare China and India…for those of you who know, they’re both growing bloody rapidly…China is apparently overheating! So yeah I guess that’s fair.

BUT wouldn’t it be pressurizing? She said she’s interested to know more about the comparison between UK, and US, which might mean that she was expecting a lot. Just now she announced to the class that it was best if they cld share with her on what are their plans for the main assignment and she mention ‘me’ without mentioning my name. One good thing though, she mention that it would be probably best if everyone hands in a different assignment each so that she won’t have the chance to compare assignments, which she say might be a bad thing. So she said “Those who are planning to do qns 6, read on Chapter 25, a student ask me just now abt qns 6…I think it’s interesting to compare GDP between 2 countries…I won’t mention which country because then all of you will be stealing ideas and I don’t want that.” Thank god for people like her!

I just hope I will have enough resources to make a 2000 word report! Wish me luck!!!

These are pics of Akid(my colleague's son and me!

OK SO I COPY AND PAST MY ENTRY FROM WORD AND NOW IT'S ALL MESS UP...I'M SORRY BUT I CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO EDIT!!!

Economics
Saturday, December 09, 2006 11:48 PM

We were discussing the raise of GST in class just now and there were supposedly emails circulating stating that the aise in GST will benefit the wealthy. It is apparently an assumption that we thought would be a good subject to discuss about.

So why the rise in GST would benefit the wealthy in Singapore? Well before i go into that let's firstly indicate that GST alone has incured billions of dollar last year...so the government thought "Why not increase it to 7%?"

In the US, where they have been experiencing budget deficit for as long as the American history runs, tax cuts have benefited the wealthy. And by the way during Bill Clinton's term, he managed to reverse it to become a Budget Surplus but when George Bush took over in 2001 (maybe due to bad luck) he used up America's Budget Surplus...all of it and they have incurred 5.5 billion dollars in Budget Deficit in 2004! Who's gonna pay for that now??? The War on Terror, Iraq War and the natural disaster in the form of Hurricane Katrina apparently are the reasons/sources why there was a Budget Deficit.

So why will the rise in GST will benefit the wealthy? From my understanding, it is merely because of something that has to do with quota...or probably income tax.To cut the story short, the wealthy will be bringing home more take-home pay and therefore they will be ale to spend more...

So how does tax cuts in the US benefits the wealthy but at the same time this leads to the weakening of the USD...this is can't realy seem to understand...when Mrs Chng was explaining, my head was already spinning and my brain had turn off! Basically it has something to do with the related of loss in confidence in the US and abroad.

Reports also mention that Bush's administration is not doing much to improve their BOP...

INTERESTING...ISN'T IT?

???
Thursday, December 07, 2006 8:49 AM

There were actually so many things that i wanted to talk about but fail to remember...as usual. HAIZ...

Well for one thing, the thing that is on top of my head right now is how 'dense' and 'unknown' youngsters are to the things that is happening in SIngapore's economy or government. FYI...i don;t really know the names of my MPs in the GRC that i live in until one incident which i can't really mention because i will be breaking banking laws/secrecy.

That aside, i had my econs class last night and i could safely say that Econs isn;t really that bad. Like Mrs Ching said...it's all in the head. Tell yourself that you will love Economics and you will! Oh i'm trying my best to love it right now. I don't really hate it but i don't love it as well...if u catch my drift...

So today i hv one more night class and i'm planning to seperate Kevin and Sean....they were so totally not realising that people keep looking back at them to give them warnings that they were talking too much during the lectures!!!it's insane...if they don't keep quiet i think i'll hv to tell them in the end.things were quieter during MOS when they were seated seperately!

woohoo! Match Report

I'm feeling terribly sad for Brother Ben...he can't play footbal anymore!Like really!EVER!He injured both his knees when he ran a 10KM run!Can u believe what these people are doing to these guys???

I couldn't help it but cry for him...i hope he doesn't know that! It's just sad for him...i had to feel so sad for him when he said that it wasn't him now who will be the first to ask his friends if they want to play football...he's on the sidelines now.

We made a joke that he had to retire early at 21!He have to go thru phsio-theraphy, MRI scan...probably an operation...well firs thing first, his knee is sticking out the wrong way...which is why whenever he runs, there wil be some pain on his knee.

So we talked for almost an hour just now and it was good to exchange stories with one another. It all started when i called him abt a week back coz i suddenly remembered that he told me that he will be in Australia in November. so i calle and he answered the phone and i was kinda surprised!

he told me that it will be a LONG story on why he is in Singapore so we only manage to schedule tonight to talk about it.

Well, that aside, i think someone is flirting with me at work...well i can't say much now coz it's gonna be midnight soon and i'm working tomorrow!
