I realise that I had forgotten about you. :)

I knew i had forgotten something when i posted the pics of my purchases. I had forgotten this!

This is definitely one Christmas present from my colleagues that will stay put on my desk. It's cute and it is actually something I always though of having. This lil koala can keep me company at work.

I can't believe tomorrow is already Monday! What a bummer! And it is still not clear if I am allowed to leave at 1230 tomorrow. The bank closes at 1130 for end of yr closing balances purposes so we won't be able to take in anymore instructions from customers.

Last night I accompanied Marina for dinner before she go to work. We had BK at Changi Airport Terminal 2. Then i bought a Pistacchio crunchy cone at Swensen's.

Then today I went out for lunch with Atiqa and we watched National Treasure:Book of Secrets, which is really good. It was a great adventure and i love every minute of it.

Anyway I ahve been trying products from Clinique and this is the first branded skincare brand that I tried and I shall justify by saying that I know why these things cost a lot of money--because they are really good. I kept touching my cheeks because they are so soft. After my grooming class at Clinique, we were given samples of their 3-step skincare products and (i'm touching my cheek now) they are really good. I have been waking up with supple and soft skin for 2 days.

I'm not sure if I should go to bed now. Liverpool is playing Man City 5 to midnight. But i will most likely go to bed by 1130...I'm working tomorrow.

Sometimes, it’s difficult telling or showing someone how you feel. It is difficult for you to express your problems publicly. You wanted to let it out but you would think that there are more important things that expressing your concern, fear and feeling to EVERYONE. You’re embarrassed that people will laugh or make snide comments.

So you write a story, disguising every little detail so that people would never think that it has anything to do with your life. You sought solace by reading it and thought that ‘There, I’ve done it. I’ve expressed how I feel.”

LOVE.

Love can be a many splendid thing, can’t deny the joy it brings, a dozen roses, diamond rings, dreams for sale and fairytales. It’ll make you hear a symphony and you just want the world to see. But like a drug that makes you blind. It’ll fool you every time. The trouble with love is, it can tear you up inside. Make your heart believe a lie, it’s stronger than your pride. The trouble with love is it doesn’t care how fast you fall. And you can’t refuse the call, see you’ve got no say at all. --- a couple of verses from ‘The Trouble with Love Is’ by Kelly Clarkson.

You got talent; but no one knows you did. You’re afraid that people will laugh and rolled their eyes, not believing that you’re actually capable of that. But I guess you gotta keep on moving. Believe in yourself, reach out inside, it will set you free.

Love Actually

I've been...
Wednesday, December 26, 2007 9:50 PM

busy, lazy and sick...really sick. These are the reasons why I have not been posting. I finally decided to but fate just wouldn't let me. I wanted to post some pictures but i left my handphone in the office! Bummer!

I wanted to log in to internet banking but...yeah i can't because i left my handphone in the office. I need my 2FA. Bummer!

So now there is nothing to do...Bummer!

Oh well, have anyone heard of Britney's new song??? Don't roll your eyes! 'Pieces of Me' is really catchy!

I'm Mrs "Lifestyles of the Rick and Famous"
I'm Mrs "Oh my God! That Britney's Shameless"
I'm Mrs "Extra! Extra! This just in"
I'm Mrs "She's too big now she's too thin"

I'm humming to it sometimes at work when i get bored or frustrated. Like how today some customer actually wanted a refund on car park fee because Premier customer can get the first hour free but because she forgotten to remove her CashCard from the EPS, the fee was deducted! And that has become my probmlem. When i explained to her and actually APOLOGIZE that we do not refund on such cases, she told me that is a 'rude' reason. Can we please have these kind of people out of this world so that we can achieve some happiness???

Hooray for Hady Mirza
Monday, December 17, 2007 10:06 PM

It's super unbelievable, unimaginable yet something that I am truly proud of. Think of it this way, people in Asia really think that Hady is the next person to idolise after their own idol!

Anyway like i said before i have pics to post. First is of the Xmas dinner last Wednesday. We went to Holiday Inn's Windows at the Park.

I still can't get over the fact that Manchester United won!

Excerpts from The Newpaper:

"Nothing new here, since yesterday wasn't the first time Liverpool dominated agaist the Red Devils before ending a match in agony."

"Someone should remind Liverpool that statistics don't win them games. Loverpool, with 19 efforts on goal compared to Manchester United's five, could have made it a night for the Anfield faithful to remember.

Same old thing all over again. Man U is so lucky.....again.

3.67
Thursday, December 13, 2007 11:13 PM

Semester One GPA: 3.67

I got pictures to post, assignments i should be starting on and just more things piling up. I am in a tight budget and it looks like I won't be able to but the pretty Guess bag which is on sale at OG. Bummer! Shouldn't have meet Yanping there. That is like a no-no zone. I'm estimating my pay now and am planning my expenditure. I have no cash to spare for that cute bag...it's so sad...

The Secrets of Happiness
Wednesday, December 05, 2007 1:58 PM

I was surfing yahoo.com when i came across an article titled "You're not sad, You're just a perfectionist" and then followed by links to "the secrets of happiness". I then came across things that are interesting and worth sharing.

The Secrets of Happiness by Jogyata Dallas

The quest for happiness lies at the very heart of all human purpose and experience, though this much desired attainment is sought in many different ways. Among the ways that have proven successful a number of recurring themes are evident.

The perennial philosophies of our spiritual teachers urge self-perfecting, the inner way, while most of mankind is searching in the outer world – right person, right possessions, right place.

I know its sounds "yoga" like but read on some pointers you could take up

Visualise your day
If you visualise it to be full of crap and unforgivings then thats how it is going to be

Start Within
Accomplish your inner self, that's what it means

Be healthy
Excercising and a reasonable and healthy diet actually helps you to achieve a better well-being...duh!

Compassion and Kindness

Practice kindness and acts of self-giving

Gratitude
Simplicity
Heart not mind
Have a sense of humour
Try meditation

visit: http://www.writespirit.net/blog/archive/2007/03/11/secrets_happiness to read more. I'm not going to summarise everything here.

So i will be trying to achieve happiness and i will try firstly, not to let STUPID, NASTY customers bring me down!

Going to sleep now
Tuesday, December 04, 2007 10:30 PM

Classes for Management Accounting ended yesterday. No pictures were taken this time. I think i forgotten. Professor Clarke was great. He's awesome. Such a great teacher. Like Andin said, he is systematic.

I might be going on a date with Sean this Sunday...relax everyone. It's just a study date. He came to me before the class ended and said "Eh i date you this Sunday? Please lah, I'll treat you lunch. What u want to eat?"

Then Andin chirps "What about me?"

Sean said "You can come if u want."

I said "I'll confirm again with you later ya. Bye!"

I don't wish to study on Sunday but I think it's best if i do. I need Sean to teach me Financial Management but i think Kevin might be a better teacher.

So sleepy now. Need to go back to sleep.

...and you said i'm childish?
Saturday, December 01, 2007 12:37 AM

I'll say "cermin lah diri sendiri dulu" (Look at yourself in the mirror first, why don't you?)

So frustrated at the moment.

Alright plans for tomorrow...i mean today.

1030 Make my way to SITEX go get my MP3 player. No idea when i will make my way out from there but my plan is to go straight to school. Coz u see, SITEX opens at 11 i will probably get out from there at 12. Then make my way to Somerset and reach say about 1240-ish then solat at Al-Falah, grab a quick lunch maybe with Andin and then school starts at 2PM.

Then after school i have to drop by my cousin's wedding coz I won't be able to make it on Sunday due to school. Probably gonna stay there till late...hopefully 9PM coz i wanna prepare myself for the next day.

For now toodles my fine readers..or lack thereof.
