In less than 50 hours I will be on a plane (SQ mind you *winks*) flying off to Turkey but I will be transiting at Dubai for one hour so yippee to that!
Nur is now in Hong Kong. She’s been there since Tuesday and will be back on Saturday night. We won’t get to meet because I will be in the airport ready to check in at 930PM and her plane will only probably land at 11PM. I won’t see my chubby sister for 2 weeks.
Oh I can hardly wait! This is the trip I’ve been waiting for and planning for since late last year.
So I watched the news yesterday (woo hoo to that coz I’ve made progression). Here were some of the news:
A chocolate was invented to give no cavities BUT the truest of its character still does not escape. It may not give you cavities but it definitely will expand your waistline.
Two-time GP world champion Fernando Alonso (yes…my guy) says that he will retire from the sport if the FIA go ahead with the new ruling of single standard engines in 2010. This is the reason why I will have to go to Sepang and Singapore race next year! And I’ve bought tickets to Sepang!!! Oh I’m so excited!
The Star Wars animation series which was created entirely in Singapore will be aired this Saturday, 6th December 2008. George Lucas is impressed and satisfied with what the Singapore team has done. He said that his visions were realized. Singapore will be the first Asian country to air the series.
Arsenal loses in the quarter-finals clash against Burnley. Arsene’s very young side still couldn’t get it right. The last I check, Spurs and Manchester United has gone through to the semi-finals. Spurs really got it running huh?
Michael Puhaindran, husband of the Mumbai hostage victim, Lo Hwei Yen recalls the last few agonizing moments. He received a call from her and there were sound of gunshots in the background and he said that he was calm and brave. He was glad that his last few words to her were “I love you”. It’s really tragic and I think that no one deserves to die this way. It is still unknown the nationalities of these attackers and Dr Rice have landed in India to help with investigations.
Oh well tonight is TV night so I’ll prolly should log off now.
