Ok, something just happened and I thought that I should maybe write about it now before I forgot all of it.
So do you know how sometimes you revealed something about yourself that not other people know about? As in, you’re talking to someone you share things with (a.k.a A) and then some other person (a.k.a. B) interrupted you and start to join in the conversation. Then along the way as the three of you talked, you accidentally slipped out something about yourself that A does not know about and then A said “I didn’t know that about you” and you just shrugged and said “it just popped into my mind”.
The reveal may be something that is not sensitive however at times A felt like you just betrayed their trust in you. But hey, do think about it. Sometimes things just keep popping into your head and you just start to say “Hey do you know I actually have done this before?”
I mean when two friends talk, new things will be revealed about each of them and in some way you’re learning something new about that person. You’re not two five-year-olds at an imaginary tea party talking about the “dresses” that you’re wearing or about the “tea” you’re drinking. You are two adults, sharing a really great conversation and you want to lean more about the other person.
It’s as simple as that and I appreciate decent conversations.
