Hugs and Kisses

Marina and I finally met up last night, a few hours before her night shift at the airport. We decided on Kopitiam but ended up at Popeye's and I missed their delicious whipped potato.

We talked and laughed and most of the time just trying to catch up. We talked about our future plans and how we are going to achieve it. Usually, talking to her makes me think more about the future and what I should do now to get there. It's scary how our thinking is now towards the future and not what is hapening now. There's so many things to think about...its so adult!

She then surprised me with a gift when I came back from the ladies. She placed it on my chair and we laughed at how simple gestures can make anyone's day.

I'm so glad we kept in touch after all these years.
