I had another round of dental surgery yeterday and as usual, was numb to the feeling but definitely not the sounds of the drilling. This time around it was super scary and my mouth became so tired after opening out wide for so long. I slightly remember feeling a lil bit sleepy and was almost going to sleep but i stop myself. Dr Wong told me to close my eyes you see so I kinda went along and felt drowsy. after one hour in the chair, my upper lip was still numb but the pain slowly started to ease in and on my way home in the MRT, the effectes of the full pain started to spread around my upper teeth.
As soon as I reach home, I lay down on my bed, sleeping the pain away. As soon as I woke up I was reminded of teh whole ordeal when the tingle of pain reached my head. It was painful. I thought that I will not be in so much pain this time around but i was so wrong! For last night only, I wasn't blabbering and making noises. I kep my mouth shut because it was too painful to talk.
The pain is gone now but I don't dare eat any solid food especially those that requires chewing. After almost 6 months with that gap on the upper side of my gums, it feels weird to feel that a crown is finally placed there.
However, this ain't done yet. I have part two next Friday. You still need to wish me luck.
