On 7 Juy 2007, a group of my colleagues and I had a small affair barbeque at East Coast Park. I was the last one to reach at 8PM and was the first to leave at 930PM. Nevertheless I did enjoy myself. The purpose of the barbeque was quite unknown and I was quite surprise that one of the reason was to celebrate the birthdays of the July babies. Not everyone was invited....this is by invitation only! We didn't invite our supervisor and manager because....well let's not disclose that shall we?
At the pit next to ours were a group of malays, mainly
makciks and pakciks and teenagers and they were all in the spirit of Live Earth as each and everyone of them wore green.
I got home and watched snippets of Live Earth. The question is..."Have you done your part to make Earth a better place to live in for the next generation?"
I had become sort of conscious. I did every little thing I could to make sure that it contributes in saving the Earth from global warming. I think it has become so serious. I'm sure everyone has noticed the change in the weather. Global Warming is really happening and no one is exaggerating!!!
Do your part....switched off the light and fan when you don't need it...I think I'll have problems getting Nur to not use the air-con frequently...
